2. Data We Collect
We collect the following categories of personal data:
Account Information
- Your name, email address, and password when you register
- Profile details you choose to add (e.g. social media handles, niche, typical rates)
- Billing name and address for invoicing purposes
Deal and Contract Data
- Brand deal information you enter or import into the platform
- Contract documents uploaded for AI review
- Messages, notes, and communications stored within the app
- WhatsApp brief data processed via our bot integration
Usage Analytics
- Log data including IP address, browser type, and pages visited
- Feature usage patterns to help us improve the product

3. How We Use Your Data
We use your personal data to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve the CreatorPilot platform
- Process your subscription and manage billing via Stripe
- Power AI features including contract analysis and deal flagging
- Send transactional emails (e.g. receipts, password resets)
- Respond to support requests and enquiries
- Detect and prevent fraud or abuse of the service
- Comply with legal obligations
We will not sell your personal data to third parties or use it for advertising purposes.
4. Third-Party Services
We use a limited number of trusted third-party services to operate CreatorPilot. Each sub-processor is bound by appropriate data processing agreements:
- Stripe: Payment processing. Stripe stores your card and billing information securely. We do not store full card details on our servers. See stripe.com/privacy.
- Supabase: Authentication and database storage. Your account data and deal information is stored in Supabase infrastructure hosted in the EU. See supabase.com/privacy.
- OpenAI: AI-powered features including contract review and deal analysis. Data submitted to AI features may be processed by OpenAI's API. We do not enable training on your data via our API usage. See OpenAI's API data usage policies.
5. Data Retention
We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with our services. If you close your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or compliance reasons (e.g. billing records, which we keep for 7 years under UK tax law).
Anonymised, aggregated data (e.g. platform usage statistics) may be retained indefinitely as it no longer constitutes personal data.
6. Your Rights Under GDPR
As a UK resident (or EU resident where applicable), you have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Right to access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
